Child's Korowai or Adult's Half HUSKY

Child's cloak made from a dark brown fur with a very close resemblance to Kiwi feathers. Row of beautiful green-tipped long brown rooster feathers at the top. 

Same product is also worn as a HALF korowai for Adult's - in adults it covers down to about the waist. Can be worn over both shoulders or over one and under the other if you want to keep your hands free for performance. We also occasionally supply this product to male performance groups to wear around the waist as a rapaki (male skirt) or tied up at the back as a rain cape (Pake). 

Much loved product – people can’t believe the price when they see the quality. Used for ceromony (graduations, weddings, tangi, unveilings, 21st birthdays) as well as by Kapa Haka groups - some performing every day. Practical item designed to be worn and to last. 

Draw string cord means the Korowai can be brought in or out to fit different sizes. Fully lined with faux suede and washable.  Made in New Zealand.

Feathers used have been imported into New Zealand after disinfectant treatment, fumigated and cleared by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. As New Zealand’s import restrictions are the strictest in the world this product can be safely sent or taken into any other country in the world.
